Stephanie 0 Posted October 14, 2016 Report Share Posted October 14, 2016 My user base has found that if they update status on a ticket they can hit resolution method and it gives them the Option of "Create New" and they are adding in resolution methods that have not been approved. Our resolution codes were set specifically to run reports. can anyone point me in the right direction to take the "Create New" option away? Link to post Share on other sites
shadowbreeze 1 Posted October 14, 2016 Report Share Posted October 14, 2016 Stephanie, I don't have Resolution Method on my Update Status details, but if you change it to a Dropdown with the lookup="no" parameter, then they should not be able to get to the list view to see the "Create New" button. estli01 19 Posted October 17, 2016 Report Share Posted October 17, 2016 Examine the Role (Admin tab, Security and Role Management, Role Management, Role List) and see what the Functional Access for that role is (it's probably set to Modify). Change it to View. Link to post Share on other sites
