  1. Thank you so much for your answer. The person I need to give this file to wants to import it into Excel and this puts the second id on a separate line.

Deref { input=userid ouput=id rule="SELECT id FROM ca_contact WHERE userid=?" } My input file consists of TABLE ca_contact userid userid2 location_uuid {"abcdf","abcdf","662345FG490H23450GHDE"} The command line pdm_deref -s contact.spec < contact.txt > contact.out The contact.out file Turns out like this TABLE ca_contact id userid2 location_uuid {"11362345FG490H23450GHDE","abcdf", "662345FG490H23450GHDE"} Does anyone know why it puts the carriage return in the file and how I get rid of it?
  3. I added the PDM_MACRO code to detail_in.htmpl to show the zdata field. The zshow field is part of the detail_pcat.htmpl so the category that need the zdata field can be selected. I could not do this with properties because after the zdata is entered it needs to be only visible to a certain role.
  4. I created two fields zshow in the category table that is a checkbox and zdata which is just a string field. I need the zdata field to be required when the zshow field is checked.   5. The Act_Log table is connected to the Call_Req table by the call_req_id. So if you join the two tables you can report on the Act_Log.

  7. customer.organization = assignee.organization or group = 'ITS' then ticket can be closed by analyst. If any other assignee or group ticket can only be resolved. Since site-defined conditions do not allow for dotted attributes I am not sure how to set this up. Can anyone help?

I explained about leaving it in a spreadsheet for historical purposes but they insist they need the data in the new system. I have been researching all the different methods for generating tickets from batch files, from the command line and I wanted to ask if anyone has successfully done this and if so could they possibly point me in the right direction for the correct method. Any advice or tip would be greatly appreciated. I would love to hear how anyone has solved this dilemma before.

  10. I was able to work around my problem by creating a Problem Management Group and putting all the problem managers in that group. Then I created a condition that required the group to be Problem Management and attached the condition to all transitions in problem that new status is closed.
  11. Does anyone have an update to this subject? I have to make a field required if a checkbox is checked. So check the value of the checkbox and if checked make the next box required. I know this can be done just by editing the source code on the web page but nothing I have tried works
