ahdtop error on logon

Regardless of whether or not we have restarted the service desk, when analysts log on, we get the following 2 errors.

"Sorry, the server has restarted. Please close service desk windows and login again."

then click ok and get

"Can't find ahdtop in menubar.html"

click ok and we go to the service desk with no problems.

We are using Service Desk 11.2, with IE8, but this also happens on Mozilla.

check with CA to see if 11.2 support IE8,

was this problem around before switching to IE8?

is there a machine with IE6 or IE7 on to see if the same problem exists
