pdm_deref output adds extra carriage returns

Recommended Posts

I have set up my two files.

Deref

{

input=userid

ouput=id

rule="SELECT id FROM ca_contact WHERE userid=?"

}

My input file consists of

TABLE ca_contact

userid userid2 location_uuid

{"abcdf","abcdf","662345FG490H23450GHDE"}

The command line

pdm_deref -s contact.spec < contact.txt > contact.out

The contact.out file Turns out like this

TABLE ca_contact

id userid2 location_uuid

{"11362345FG490H23450GHDE","abcdf",

"662345FG490H23450GHDE"}

Does anyone know why it puts the carriage return in the file and how I get rid of it?

The carriage returns are between attributes and should have no negative effect on using the file in a pdm_userload.

Thank you so much for your answer.  The person I need to give this file to wants to import it into Excel and this puts the second id on a separate line.

If you are using a good text editor (like Notepad++) you could search for all the commas followed by a carriage return and replace with a comma followed by a space.
