upload attachment but no to EDIT the CO

hi there,

i need the best possible solution for the following:

i want to restrict all users to EDIT the Change Order but allow to upload new attachments.

 

i've achieve the first one by Data Partition or Functional Access but could not acheive the second one.

 

expert advice required.

You did not mention which release of Service Desk you are using.

Have you considered using the Change Order Dependent Attribute Control to lock down all of the fields? This would still allow comments to be logged and attachments uploaded. You will find this for each Status for Change Orders.
