Unable to view reports

I have a report in CA Service desk that someone else built and only people in a specific role are allowed to run it. When ever I add anyone new to the role, the reports come up as just blank screens. The person that built the report used to do something so that the reports come up, but I don't know what it was and they're not here any more.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing it? I'm thinking its a permissions thing, but I can't seem to find out where that stuff is located.
